How will the Jets 2008 NFL Season turn out?

Watching Monday NFL countdown right now and listening to Berman and Carter talk about how Favre really seems to have settled into/gotten comfortable in New York pretty quick.

Obviously after the first game of the season, I'm really not ready to get anywhere near as "kid on Christmas eve" excited as Chris Carter seems to be about it, but I do think it will kind of be an "all or nothing" season in NY.

What do you guys think? Everyone has been asking how many games the Pats will win without Brady, but I'm more interested in how many games the Jets will win with Favre.

I say they go 9-7.

10-6 and they will win the division.

Definitely agreed. For me, I thought 9 and 7, but there are so many games on their schedule that could go either way (specifically those against Buffalo and Kansas City - I never think KC will be brilliant, but they do seem to be relatively consistent spoilers).

I also think there's a chance they won't be able to beat Miami twice.

To be honest, all I really know is that I'm stoked we're getting all the Jets games in Wisco this year. We basically get to watch Favre and Favre-light each week.

And I think Rodgers had a better week one than Favre.

Grant's running game really provided for that. Usually MN d-line is pretty shut down against the run and can afford to drop the safeties into coverage. Grant was just too much and they had to move one or, at times, both into the box to prevent him from destroying the field for a 25+ yrd run. That afforded 1 on 1 coverage on the outside and gave Rodgers a chance to scramble on the weak side.

I say they go 9-7 but dont make the playoffs because the Bills go 10-6 and the Pats still go 11-5 even without Brady.
