the mix in its entirety is better than I expected, it's actually an enjoyable mix for the car or relaxing at home after work (and most of you probably know that I'm usually pretty critical of Sasha these days). not a club album but then neither was Involver.

i'm listening to it now, and i absolutely love it.
I was a huge fan of involver, but this surpassed my expectations. definitely a chill cd, but it has that style that i absolutely love. will have to listen to it right after involver 1 to see which i like better.

+1

I give this album a mere A+...and that's just because no one is as unique as Sasha, even though few have attempted. I think his tracklisting (although not his) is pure glory, and his mixing is legendary. I think these days (per Sasha) it's his chosen tracks that still have him at the forefront of the scene. I downloaded that sample and it rocks out.

die.

While you're at it, rip me a copy of Autodesk 3ds Max Design Suite 2009....coz it sure as hell has taken me a long ass time to torrent that sucka..and my project's due in 2 weeks.

the thing about the "new" Sasha, if you will, is that he's distinctly lackluster and no longer anything special as a dancefloor DJ. he doesn't play particularly fresh or unique tracks for the most part and there's no flow or musical journey anymore. the last time I saw him live I kept hoping for it to end because I was missing the start of Danny Tenaglia's set across town but didn't want to leave without my friends, the music just didn't go anywhere and every time he got the semblance of a groove together he'd interrupt it with 3 minutes straight of tired-out Ableton effects.

BUT, he can sure put together something nice in the studio, something for when you're winding down and relaxing and don't need to feel your body being controlled by the music. Airdrawndagger was like that, Involver was like that, and now Invol2ver is as well. Personally I hope he'll stick with his strengths and start becoming more a studio musician and less a touring DJ.

= tits.

One of these days I'll go out and buy all my once-owned albums again. That shit pisses me off when someone knows you're into the music, they ask to see your cds, and all you have to show them is a blank cd you burned the night before.

Does anyone know how long it takes for karma to get back at bad, fucked up people? lol. The asswipe who stole my cds should either be dead, burned, or both.

Totally good points on Sasha being a kickass studio DJ. I'm sure as you grow older your priorties lie more in the music and less on the club crowds.

Let me ask.

Dave, has my 'Dave is a joto' spell worked yet?

Thought so.

Carry on

DISCLAIMER: Dave does not really want dick or wish to possess said dick or dick paraphanalia.
