Sean Tyas is a muppet
From an interview:
With so many artists and labels out there its becoming harder to stand out and be noticed, any advice you would give to people looking to get into this ever growing industry?
SEAN: "See with my brothers I actually suggest they stay on a "normal" path and go to school to become something "stable". This would have to be among the most stressful careers anyone could ask for, next to a prostitute worrying about getting diseases."
your a muppet

He needs a PR person but he does have a point though.

his answer is missing drumrolls and an obligatory 4-bar silence before a breakdown.
What is stressful about putting a stronger kick behind all sorts of classics and shitty new songs, playing bad music out at clubs, and in general just putting absolutely no effort what-so-ever into your career?
Stressful my ass. The only stress he has to worry about is how he's going to convince the local Dairy Queen manager to give him a job when he's completely done being trance' flavor of the moment.
lift is still a massive track

Maybe if Sean Tyas would stop buying coke, hookers and $80 affliction shirts, djing might be more of a stabel job for him.
I have heard this type of commentary from so many artists inside and outside the edm scene.
barely a muppet statement on his part, not that I am defending sean tyas in any way shape or form prior to this specific truthful statement, that yes, making your livelihood out of music ain't no easy feat
