Hurrican Ike - Evacuating yet?

Any TXTA's evacuating yet/undecided at this point/i'm packing up mother-fucking now?

I know a couple of you that stay in Katy( west Houston)
Looks like we are going to get pretty heavy winds in that area.

My In-Laws left Galveston this morning.

yeah my inlaws headed out too, they were in texas city.

BTW I'm up on the NW side if anyone needs a place to hunker down hit me up

i just hope the hurricane cleans up Houston of all the the SHIT that lives there.

it should focus on north side, 5th ward, and whatever other ward it feels like rampaging through.

i'm stickin around; my parents are out of town too, so i've got two places to take care of...thankfully somewhat close to each other

i'm just hoping electricity doesn't go off, then i'll be fine with a bunch of movies and/or xbox

If Ike stays on its current track and becomes a Cat 3...its not losing power I'm worried about, but how many days it will be out. This includes the water and maybe gas utilities as well.

It's staying on course and slowing down, which means it is most certainly going to gain strength before landfall. My in-laws live in Galveston. They said as of last night the waves are already coming up over the sea wall near San Luis hotel and all of the Moody Gardens area.

If any of you kids live right on the coast, please don't fuck around with this. This is going to be bad, real bad.

Want to hear irony. My in-laws have lived down there for thirty years. They never had flood insurance. After my mother-in-law retired this last January, they bought it for the first time at 650 bucks a month. I think it's about to be put to use.

Hard to surf this shit. I tried that a couple of years ago when we went down to pack her parents up to leave (Humberto, I think it was). No clean sets to surf and way to windy, even three days before the storm

My step Dad's cousin just came over from Galveston last night to stay with us in SA; the drive took her 8 hours. She lives right on the blvd that runs along the 17ft sea wall... which the water is already spilling onto Whoever hangs around there is a dumbshit.

This storm will fuck up the coast line, but if I was in Houston, no way would I be leaving. It's going to die down quick when it hits land, as they always do.
