Laptop for sale
I bought this laptop last december and the motherboard was recently replaced (because HP though there was a problem with it even though nothing was so theres a new mobo). Its still under manufacturer warranty (until december 8, 2009) and I also bought the extended Bestbuy PSP which lasts till Dec 8, 2010.
I want to sell this as I would prefer upgrading to something more along the lines of what I need. the computer is in 9/10 condition and asking price is $1,100 OBO(incl the best buy service plan of 2+ years left). I bought it for 1400

Okay now that everybody is already ragging on Liam, that laptop is worth about $500 at most. Come on.
moral of the story = don't try to sell used goods on TA, cuz we're all cheap & poor....
unless of course you're trying to sell viginity... which is all the craze these dayz

Good on ya to try and totally rip off your peer group. Nothing like a good ole ripoff to build a solid friend base.
$500 for a used laptop like this would still be pushing it. The battery has a finite number of charges before becoming worthless and they cost hundreds to replace. So knowing that you'd have to to be on some form of hallucinogen to actually consider this.
