Oklahoma?

Hey everybody,

I'm a Dallas local and love nothing more than seeing my favorite tracks spun by the best at the clubs there (Lizard Lounge woot woot!) but I go to a university five hours away in Oklahoma. Now don't get me wrong I've driven down for multiple shows before but there's no way with gas prices and whatnot that I can continue to make the trips.

Anybody have any idea of a trance scene anywhere in OK? Oklahoma City would be the best bet I suppose but it seems as everybody in this state sticks to country music lol.

OK has kelly trance. she's a good dj and plays OKC alot. Skyy Bar in OKC has a decent mix of house among other things

Here's the only few I know in OK

The only places I go to in Oklahoma with anything near an Electronic scene would have to be all DRD (Dance Robot! Dance!) Events. You can check out their schedule on their myspace DanceRobotDance . They host Robotic Wednesday parties at the Electron in OKC on obviously Wednesdays, and additionally they host Party! Party! every Thursday at the Opolis in Norman.

Ultraviolet was a pretty good group who came on Dance Robots 2 year anniversary a few weeks back and are coming again, but in Tulsa this time. You should check them out on Nov. 6. I'll be there.

Make sure you head down to Dallas for the big DJ's though, it's worth the wast of GAS
