Bloody Caesar = the devil's drinkd

Been absolutely hooked on this ever since the summer. Just a little bit of ice, 2 olives, no celery. So goddamn tasty.

Also experimented with gin instead of vodka and it gives it a slight different flavour.

I think I'll go have another one now

Dude, you're 7hrs early.

The Caesar is for Sunday mornings (either the end of a Saturday night, or the beginning of a party Sunday). And OMG are they ever tasty!

Side note: try getting a Caesar in the US. They don't know what clamato is. What they have (those poor, misguided souls) is a Bloody Mary which is Bloody Disgusting. We should be thankful to have such easy access to clamato.

Posted by MarkT on Sep-14-2008 03:13:

ugh, I don't even know wtf is in clamato juice. I do know that it tastes like shit though, haha. the only thing more disgusting than a ceasar is a dirty martini, lol.

vodka + soda FTW.

I'd say it's also a low cal alternative to other drinks...but when you blow through 2 liters of vodka between 3 people, it's kind of irrelevant, lol.

Off to a good start, Yohan! I foresee a good thread here.

Ceasars with horseradish is my fave.

The Bloddy Ceasar is a Canadian invention, and is known in the finer bars around the world! When you do order it abroad, most bartenders actually ask you if you are Canadian, especially in the carribean.

On another note... along my road trip in the US last month... I saw the most DISGUSTING ceasar-like drink at the grocery store. Have a look at this, and try not to blow any chunks.

Posted by smuncky on Sep-14-2008 03:49:

AJ, that sounds horrible. beer and clamato?

mojitos ftw. so refreshing.

Did you try this abomination? I can't imagine anything with Bud in it passing the barf test, but I'm Canadian (open-minded).

Those chicks can move up to 8 litres of beer (plus glass!) in one shot (a strong right arm is crucial - in life as it is at the brewery).

Besides, beer tastes better when it's made in Munich and comes out of a 1 litre glass.

mmmmm caesers. *insert puking smily here*

who's bright idea was it to grind up seafood and mix it with tomato juice?

here's another brilliant combination:

But yeah, Caesars are teh awesomez0rs. Only in the summer though. Come fall it's onto the Amaretto Sour (by wintertime I'll just be pounding JD straight out of the bottle).

When I worked at a Pearson bar, a lot of people actually order them, it's called a Red Eye, I see a lot of people from the Prairies drinking it.
