Some site with sets from TO scene in the 90s

http://www.fun-in-the-murky.com/mt/mixtape_archive.html

Something I came across today

That archive would be courtesy of Hamilton, Ontario's Monsieur "Isoprax" Wilkes, a standout d.j., Neil Landstrumm worshipper and fellow vinyl-booster. The Bleep Radio archive sets in the DJ promotion forum are good for some schoolin', too.

It's too bad a lot of people consider 90s (and earlier) sounds to be pass. They really don't know what they're missing, as some wickedly original and creative stuff came out of that era.

Yeah Trevor started this project a few years ago of collecting mix tapes from people, ripping them to mp3 and sharing them on his website. Pretty cool. (And a time consuming project no doubt)

I feel like digging up some of my old MC Mario and Chris Sheppard tapes.

Yeah, Chris Sheppard was the man in the 1990s. I got pretty much every single one of his 1990s albums, mix CDs and productions ... even his BKS and Love Inc stuff. Pirate Radio Sessions ... live to air stuff ... Energy 108 ... man, finally I almost finished collecting all those euro songs they ever played!

Great find!!!!

Some of the sets are mislabled but I guess we can expect that. The Dj Dan set labelled "Live in NY" is actually "Funky Techno Tribe" from 94-95 I think. Great set though, I love that track "Detriot" and "Ganzo the lost"........they have the great old funky breaks sound you can't find anymore....
