Since Enrique deleted his Mogwai thread...

I would just like to say that Mogwai were fucking incredible on Friday night @ Stubb's. Extended fugues and soundscapes made up the majority of their performance and that shit went from the most gentle instrumental rock and worked it's way up through intense, mindblowing climaxes and into vast, massive waves of some of the most beautiful noise I have ever heard.

Hearing Enrique's excuse for not being able to make it to a performance of one of his most favourite bands - in his home town - because he got 'caught up with some friends': priceless

ok, yes i was planning to attend this event but i got hold back by the TX State crew in San Marcos and I took off way too late to catch Mogwai. Mind you I was driving through I-35 at around nine-thirty at night, around the exact same time Mogwai begun.

I'm glad to hear they kicked ass, they are one of my favorite bands but I'd not seen my Bobcats in a long-time and a 'good catching-up' was the ideal remedy to a rather boring Friday Night.
