Deadmau5 feat. Kaskade - I Remember [mau5trap]

Finally this beautiful melodic track was released. Enjoy! Deadmau5 and Kaskade join forces on this huge vocal electro house track ‘I Remember’ The haunting vocals have you a million miles away whilst the space age keys, tight rhythm and dreamy melody keep you locked in. For anyone not fond of vocals there is a handy instrumental in the package too.

It's a pleasant little track, but I suspect I would like this a whole lot more had I not heard anything else released by Deadmau5, for as reluctant as I am to be the umpteenth person to bring this up for the umpteenth time, I just can't bring myself to see past the presence of that signature plucking in so much of his other work.

What would you know about it? You don't even review anymore.

Taking time off to have something of a personal life; sell out!

Music is dead to me.

Beautiful tune from Deadmau5 & Kaskade I really enjoy vocal version, because of this sweet voice
Instrumental is also nice, however without this lovely vocal it's an empty tune.

Although personality-wise I'm sure he's a prick, his music is definitely likeable. I think it's good he has a signautre. It definitely makes it dance-able to (at least judging by the response from dance floors). Chicane has a signature sound... (or at least did )

You mean, you have heard that bassline and synth before?!

Hey, I like it to, and it's great in small doses.

It's just that it's been used so transparent, and used so man...ahh, there's nothing I can say anymore that I and others haven't said so, so, so many times over.

It's almost just not even worth it anymore.

You know, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm really starting to think I have.

Heh. I don't know whether I should be defending my sabbatical, or be giddy over the fact that I'm being missed after all.

I thought it was somewhat decent until about 40% of the way thru the sample, where the cliche 8th notes kicked in.

argh, how could you? ... I don't like the vocals but the instrumental is ok I guess. It's not the repeating bass and synth that makes it annoying from time to time, because let's be honest: a lot of producers seem to work with the principle of repetition - why change something that is succesful? - but it's the amount of releases that this dude makes. He doesn't give us any time to breathe in between ;-)

I like the vocals in this track. Maybe not as much as in "Move For Me", but I do like them.

Good track.
