Morgan Geist - Detroit (w/ Carl Craig Remixes) [Environ]

Original and two mixes from C2 on here, I kind of liked all of them - but the only one that went into the bag was the C2rmx1 by Carl Craig. Chuggy techno that, to be honest, does sound a lot like most of the other stuff I've been playing the last couple years from guys like Joris Voorn - but then again, guys like Joris Voorn took a lot of cues from C2 to begin with, so I guess I'm not surprised.

Anyway, the best way I could described the C2rmx1 is filthy yet beautiful and hectic but floaty. /pretentious description
