what clubs to check out in Montreal?

Going to be in downtown Montreal Oct 24-25... what clubs should I check out if I get a chance? Are there any big DJs lined up for these dates that anyone knows of?

Wednesday 24th, the only event going down is pretty much that Cherry night.

Thursday 25h, there is more action.

Coeur de pirate CD launch @ Le National

Vincent Lemieux, head of Musique Risqu�e label, with his weekly residency @ Bily Kun bar, for a nice evening of minimal techno and house

And of course the infamous weekly Overdose Thursdays @ Parking Club with DJ Mini being the residents and guests Francois Lebaron and Pfreud.

Overdose Thursdays have won many, many (many) recognition over the years as delivering the best all around nights in one of the best all-around clubs in Montreal. Mini is one of the (very) few persons in this town to book good forward-thinking artists, and she has her finger on the worldwide techno pulse. However, it's a gay club, with Thursdays being mixed nights...so if you can't stand gay people, don't bother.
