Pissing on a party isn't necessary to let us know who you'll vote for and why.

Posted by elFreak on Sep-18-2008 19:25:

i am not pissing on the party at all. Jack Layton has some very strong aspects towards his policies...the only thing is he will have so little seats and will be unable to accomplish anything.

i just want harper gone.

I think for the first time I'll vote Bloc Quebecois. I always voted Liberal before.

There is a structural flaw with a one round election, with more than 2 parties. The canadian electoral system sucks so much ! its ridiculous.

however, i disagree with what you said. people should study the partys's programs and vote for whoever they want. now every vote counts because each vote gives 2$ to the party.

Now, if things were ideal, we would have proportional representation !

The EDM Liberal Party.

Has a party even released their program?

we need a black prime minister not to be outdone by the united snakes of america.

I really don't give a shit about our election.

As if Dion would do anything if elected, which he wont be.

Harper is predictable, he's a typical conservative and to whoever cited the war reference remember it was Chretien that sent our boys in the first place.

Harper's extension of the mission sort of sucks but it's better than leaving and having the whole thing be a complete waste, and letting more oppressive bastards take over again.

I hope Harper wins another minority gov't and then a DECENT Liberal leader can emerge and win the NEXT election.

I voted for the first time last elections (i wasn't a legal canadian citizen up until then). I dont remember who i voted for, and I cant remember why. It was probably Liberal.

I have been influenced a little by being fairly close to a very Liberal family (the Trudeaus and their immediate family) which always, by default, made me feel like they are right, and everyone else is wrong (even if i didn't know the details).

Hopefully this year i will make a better informed decision, but probably the same. lol
