haha...

Gotta love the phishing!

Don't be stupid people. Banks/Companies will never send you an email to request information from you.

But you'd be surprised how many people fall for the phishing attempt. There actually are some really good emails circulating out there where even I have a hard time distinguishing if they are fake or real.

There's another that says my domain name has been transferred to another company and that I should send them a new fee for the new contract. I tell the wife that is this was true, then my ISP would have sent the email. Holy shit they don't stop!

Posted by zoogla on Sep-19-2008 18:39:

what does your wife have to do with anything?

I like the ones where you supposedly win an x amount of dollars from Spain in a lottery drawing contest

Loved the "Manager of Visa/Mastercard"

They are two different companies rofl.

What sucks is these types of schemes actually get a lot of the older adults who are new to the internet. How many of my aunts, uncles and hell, even my own parents did I need to make understand that their Hotmail account wasn't REALLY going to be deleted if they didn't send the magical chain-letter to 20 of their friends? LOL

Ireland seems to be the country of choice for most spammers who e-mail my address.
