New Yorkers - a question

i have this idea, not entirely mine but anyway

get two JBL EON15G2 portable bi-amped loudspeakers
one honda EU2000i generator

and make outdoor parties.

the whole set with cabling should run about $2500.

this would be a very light and compact, quality 800 watt system. in a quiet place this should be enough for a small party of about 20 people.

a bunch of people would have to chip-in to buy this set, and then we would take turns to store it, and anybody could use it anytime and anybody else could come.

you could connect a cd player and a computer to the generator and play anything we want, no need to buy these i hope cuz we have them.

what are you thoughts? who thinks he could potentially go through with this? (new yorkers obviously, as in new york city, not state)

i'll help out. but please explain this sound system in my ignorance. it sounds like you want to get some equipment to throw some raves?

and where do you want to do this that you won't get a noise violation or anything?

well supposedly this has been done before here in NY. in at least 2 locations in brooklyn.

well i personally am not much of a rave fanatic, i mostly had in mind smoking myself to death (acid too maybe) and listening to something mindblowing, like psytrance.

the sound system? well its just a suggestion so far, i believe its a good one. here is a link:
