yep i read it was meant to be sasha + digweed but sasha got stuck in customs

Posted by WillyWonka on Sep-21-2008 22:13:

I was at this event and months later I'm still pissed...the excuse was Sasha's fucking passport was missing from his stolen luggage and the reason why he couldn't get through the USA border into Canada for the tag-team with Digweed.

A couple days later Sasha seems to have no problem getting into Mexico from the USA and then back into Vancouver, Canada. All of these destinations require an important travel document such as a passport for a UK citizen with a work visa in the States. Go figure. Fucking Sasha!!!

this was a great night and i'm glad at least part of his set was recorded and shared, but these two hours were the first part of his set and i found the last couple hours much better... i doubt we'll ever hear the rest though...

In the beatport tour journal it was mentioned that he had to fly back to the UK during the free time and obtain the correct travel documents. That's why he was able to then get into Mexico and Vancouver later on.

i was there too and although i was looking forward to seeing them play together, i can't say i was THAT disappointed when i heard we were getting 4-5 hours of diggers solo... he always delivers... but if it were vice versa i would've been pissed!

That brought back memories of the amazing LED display they had during the Spring Club Tour, thanks for posting the links.

There's still one track that I heard Diggers drop in the Chicago stop of the tour that I haven't heard since. I wish I could post a sample of it - it sounded like a cross between the mix of Space Bird that Digweed was hammering earlier this year and Lustral - Everytime (Yunus mix). It was earth shattering!
