Carte Blanche '08, Cafe Del Mar '08...

Anymore classics going to be butchered into some tech funky house rubbish?

I heart the new Carte Blanche version last week and I've just accidentally heard the Cafe Del Mar 08 (Out Of Office) mix, absolutely terrible.

Whats next?

Welcome to 1998.

Hybrid's mix really is 10 years old and was just rereleased the millionth time along with the 2008 mixes just like the most famous remix, Three'n'One Remix from 1997.

Remakes of Deadmau5 tracks...

...oh wait!

I really hate all these new remixes too, but I just dont get into a stew about them. Why? Cos I dont bother listening to them. Easy solution.

Don't get me wrong, I hate 99.9% of the remakes/remixes/updates/bootlegs featuring old classics that sounded much better in the context of the original release...

maybe I'm attending the wrong kind of parties, straddling somewhere between the commercial and underground markets.. but these classic updates go down the best on the floor... it is something recognisable so the crowd can identify with the melody in a way that allows them to party.

It's their existence that annoys me the most
