You can win some great prizes, get some great new music for free, and get your mix on the massive District Ignition podcast! Simply mix some tunes like you love to do, and send us the mix. We'll pick our favorites, and you win!

"Create a DJ mix in whatever style of music you want, making sure to include a version of the seminal skylab2000 track Rollergirl, which is available as a FREE download. If the original hard dance mix isn't quite your style, check out the LJ MTX and Ciconte electro house remix, an electro breaks remix by Viro and Rob Analyze, or an epic trance remix by Johnny Y, all available on Metronix Recording's Beatport page."

Bit of background on the track: The original version of Rollergirl was the number one most downloaded song *overall* on mp3.com, with over 500,000 downloads. Rollergirl was originally released on 12" vinyl on Phatt Phunk Records. Dave Dresden (Gabriel and Dresden) called it "the bomb of all bombs".

You may use as many or as few skylab2000 tracks as you wish to in the mix, but you must include at least one mix of Rollergirl.

RULES:

1. Your mix MUST contain at least one version of skylab2000's Rollergirl.

Feel free to use any other skylab2000 tracks in your mix, though that is optional. Selected skylab2000 tracks may be downloaded at http://skylab2000.com/audio.php at no charge.

You may use as many or as few skylab2000 tracks as you wish to in the mix, but you must include at least one mix of Rollergirl.

2. The mix can be any length, but remember you are sending the file electronically, so don't go crazy. Thirty to ninety minute mixes are best. mp3 format preferred.

JUDGING:

A private group of internationally known Djs and musicians will select their favorite mixes, and we will announce the winners by mid December. Mixes will be judged on the following criteria: Quality of mixing, construction of mix, choice of music, personal taste. All judges decisions are final.

Scratching is allowed.
