Joonas Hahmo - Cocktail Bar (Original Mix)

i like this tune a lot. joonas' originals are better than his remixes. a lot of proudcers are like that. or viceversa.

love the breakdown with the crowd cheer. scan to 2:20 on the youtube if your impatient. kinda low quality though..

hate the use of crowd cheers in any song. when done proper, the crowd you're playing it for should fill in that "void".

edit: it just sounds cheesy as all hell.

idiot. theres no void, its just about hearable. like a ghost note, you feel it more than hear it.

signum - solar alert has used crowd effect well. great tune, another amazing tune with crowds: dumonde - can you dig it.

love this effect in tunes. doesnt need to be live.

Paul Oakenfold Resident Cream CD has "live" crowd effects all the way through it. to great efftect. and they were added later, the cd wasnt a live mix though it feels one.

right, i'm an idiot because i have personal preferences contrary to your own.

what other wonderful things can you insult your way to me liking?

saying you hate all tunes with the crowd effect is a stupid and a stuck-in-your-ways comment. proof of this is that you never even played the clip.

there are good and bad examples OF EVERYTHING.

"fill the void" its not used as a cover up for a poor tune. it adds something to it. the piano is brilliant too.

i don't need to view the clip because i've already heard this song to full extent before.

i have nothing against the tune, except to say that i dislike hearing crowd noises... in any track for that matter. so this particular tune would stand well alone without the crowd noise, and maybe there'll be an edit somewhere out there.

but Joonas can do whatever he wants to, it's his vision.

how that makes me an idiot, i fail to see. that's your thought and i guess there's no way of changing your mind. my only suggestion is that you be a bit more respectful of other peoples opinions, not a good way to lead a life by insulting others.

why would there be an edit without the crowd effect? your just being silly now.

as i said, its used in ghost note fashion. it adds feeling, some people wouldnt even know theres a crowd effect in there. take it away however add it will feel bare. you probably never picked up on it until i said it.

no, i'm under the impression that it sounds cheesy. but regardless, i can tell you're not going to see my point of view.

in summary - track is good but i don't like the crowd noise, wish there was an edit without it.

Can't stand those synths or the bassline. Never liked this guys work anyway, so i didn't have much hope.

Good stuff as always from him. Sounds a little Pjanooish though.

Pretty good track. I don't mind the crowd noises. Nice piano element.

I'm in love with this track, its not usually the sort of thing I like but it really works in this case I think.

absolutely nothing when done well.

i understand that this is not my preferred genre of music, so if i put that fact aside i am still left with a production with elements that do not blend and stick out like a sore thumb. It sounds like something you would expect from someone producing for a very short time.

and what about mr fingers can you feel it. that has crowd noises in it. is that shite too? its clubby so it suits it, and so is the joonas tune clubby. depends if its suited. you cant say its crap in all instances.

there is pretty much a list of assholes i'd expect to play this shit.

haven't heard the Macklin take on this - will have to check it out... maybe he removed the crowd cheers.

liked his first production better, The Fusion.

that was something original, now most of his stuff just sound like generic trance wannabe prog house tracks to me like most of the stuff on anjuna deep.

crap, this was on my "amazing tracks to get" list

but upon hearing the sample, i see that i copy/pasted the wrong track from a set tracklisting.

the fusion is still ok
