Chill Out Fans out - You need this in your life

This is a mix that has seen me through many sunny days and sleepless nights, the perfect mix to come home to from a hard weekends partying and stick on and just melt to.

The mix is done by a very good fried of mine and doesn't know that i'm sharing this i don't think he'll be all that bothered about it though. I was first introduced to it in ibiza 3 years ago now and still use it regularly as an aid to drift off to the land of nod. Contains everything from songs on movie soundtracks, some aphex twin, brian eno and the style council etc.

The reason i'm up at 3 in the morning posting this is cos Ive just had a heavy dose of sleep paralysis for the past 3 hours and have decided to stick it on.

So here it is the aptly name "flat out" by my good friend fritz!

Listen to it with an open mind and enjoy

Speak of the devil, I just had a pretty bad case of sleep paralysis as well. This'll go well with my bagel.

+1

Not a chillout fan, but after ten hours of work, I sure could use something soothing.

this one neat, the very recognizable bits seem really strange in a good way

Don't have a full tracklist but I know there is a couple of tracks from the blade runner sound track (rachels song and tears in the rain), the main theme to ET and jurassic park, brian eno - ascent, the style coucil - long hot summer, moby - porcelain and a few aphex twin tracks from his selected ambient works 85-92 release.

I recognized Northen Lights - Lux...

Love Poundin' Sensation

This is a really nice set. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Posted by Kinezi on Oct-08-2008 04:36:

BTW the name reminded me of that mother fucking scumbag who trapped his little girl Elizabeth Fritz for like 30 years in his basement in Austria. Miserable.

Ah, Jose Padilla - Adios Ayer. Can never go wrong with that track.

There was me thinking I was the only one brave enough to put the Jurassic Park theme into a chillout set

I'll check this out when I get home, love a bit of chill out and I think I'll need it later! Cheers for the share.

I didn't like it because it bored me with the exception of the two Moby tracks 'My Weakness' and 'Porcelain' as well as two other tracks I can't id.

Its really good, and slow moving which sounds really nice.
The track by Aphex Twin - Aegopolis though a great track, sounded a little harsh for this soft mix, especially right after that opera-like track that I recognize from "Perfecto presents Another World" by Paul Oakenfold.
I also recognize a track at the 31 min mark. I think it might be on "A Trip In chill"
And since I'm just over half done, I'm excited to hear Jose Padilla - Adios Ayer, one of my favorite tracks ever...so beautiful!

I don't know every track on the mix but the tracks your looking for are vangelis - rachels song from the blade runner soundtrack and aphex twin - Ageispolis off his selected ambient works album
