Talking [Retro] Dream Dance series

Anyone here still listen to these? I think the series has gotten somewhat unoriginal after about the 12th volume as far as trance is concerned, considering most of the tracks were shortened versions & less uncommon material was present on the albums.

I'm listening to the series from the start lately & have to say I really like these early Dream Dance albums. Anyone else here a fan of what is now considered retro trance (pre-1999ish?)? I never tire of Robert Miles - Dreamland (the whole album) & Three Drives - Greece 2000 for example...

i never really like these radio edit compilations. i prefer the releases on sub-terranean label like the Rave Mission and Revermeister series which had full length releases.

Aaah, back in my satisfied-with-a-radio-edit days these were always playing.

Haven't touched one in years, and probably won't, but they has special place in my heart.

Aren't the tracks featured in the earlier Dream Dance series now rare in their full versions (heck, I'm having a hard time tracking down many of the tracks featured in the first Magik album from Tisto ;-) )?
