Funny propaganda
I always find it funny when out of touch and very nearly totalitarian regimes have propaganda that is so painfully obvious that everyone but them realises it (think RUSSIA). But there are some fabrications that even RUSSIA could not get away with, something as undeniable as geography, that is MAPPING.
However there is one country out there that has such a tight grip on it's own people and media that they have found it relatively easy to fool their entire population in to believing something as absurd as a redrawn map. Argentina is the country I am talking about, and the reasons for their 'modifications' come from their historically baseless claim to the Falkland Islands (but that's something else entirely). Certain maps in Argentina show not only the Falkland Islands, a British territory as a posession of Argentina, but far larger than they are in reality and placed closer to Argentina than they really are.

You know what's really scary. In the West, people don't know they're watching propaganda. At least in the Soviet Union, people knew the the stuff coming out of their tv was propaganda. Television, in my honest opinion, is propaganda to the core. With every 1 hour show, is interspersed with 10 minutes commercials, telling you, "buy buy buy". Buy a car, buy a house, buy a tv, buy this shampoo, buy this, buy that. The corporate media is owned by just a few corporations. GE, News Corp, Disney, just to name a few of the few. The only media I trust is PBS (Public Broadcasting Network), and I rarely watch more than 1 hour of TV a week...
