I only caught the last 15 minutes of his set but from what i saw it seemed like he had the crowding going and getting them ready for axwell

Was ok but he switched genres a lot and played a few songs he shouldn't have meaning headlining songs that Axwell was gonna play other than that no problem.

He banged out alot of good tunes. It was actually my first Avalon experience in prob over a year.

Axwell's performance is @ the top! We had the luxury of having an elevated table so we didn't have to deal with the clusterfuck dancefloor. (which can get scary at times)

Axwell only come out here once a year? A little cheezy & commercial...but he's made many of those cheezy tunes we all love.

Lots of Europeans. David Guetta brings out the French and Axwell brought out all the Swedish. They even brought a huge flag in front of him!

And Reza...that guy is a master of productions. I'm I tripping or is there a song that goes...."hey Mikey?" "hey Mikey"
He was prob messing with me.

Yeah he rocked it!

Blew me away with his style, TONS of energy and you can see he was feeling the music. I wish he would have played longer though, he played for only around an hr.

Fraki Chan was pretty dope too, but just kinda stereo typical Aoki style tunes and mixes. Mehdi was somewhat similar, but he would switch it up and play all kinda of electro and just banging house tracks.

And Ax well, no need to say anything there he just blew the place up! From the time he got on, until he got off it was a jammed packed Avalon dance floor.

I have TONS of video too, most of the time i was just standing there filming my iphone per request of some friends.

Lastly....

Some people no matter how loooooooooooong they have been djing still well, suck. You would think after 3123 years of practice their mixing skill would improve? I mean you can have a good track selection (well minus songs we JUST HEARD 5-10 mins PRIOR from the last DJ) but come on now lets work on some clean track transitions before "effects".

After last night my brain is just trying to imagine what the hell I would do if I log on one day and see Swedish house mafia @ Avalon all 3 of them together on one stage now that is worth a hundred dollars to see. I cant believe I have paid sooo much to see Tiesto all these years....

Glad you guys liked the flag, you'll see it every time a Swede's in town to tear the house down.. That's a promise! Next stop Monster Massive in front of Angello & Ingrosso, then Prydz at Avalon the following weekend.

We were around 30 swedes on saturday with a single mission to make the flag bounce all night, but towards the end of the night people from all over the world were jumping around with us under the flag and were even complaining when we didn't have to flag up.. amazing!

The energy on the dancefloor was un-fucking-believable and made this one of the greatest nights we've ever had, as expected Ax dropped the usual suspects, but also managed to unleash a few absolute killers previously unheard.

If anyone have any photos or videos you want to share that would be great, everyone one of us Swedes were to busy rocking out instead of taking any cool pics on the flag...I'm especially keen on finding a photo when we brought the flag up behind Ax in the booth... if anyone managed to capture that moment and wants to share it with us that would be golden!

Here's a few pics we DID manage to snap though, to sum up a legendary night:

All the best from the L.A. Swedes!

I have video of that that i shot with my iPhone.

Problem is, it turned out horrible the sound and video is just worthless.

Il post it up here in the next day or so.

first off i'll start by saying i love Axwell and he's one of my favorite djs....

having said that i had a good time but i've heard better sets from him. was suprised he played only a bit more than 2.5 hours... with Reza taking over at 4 and as the upstairs patio was closed that was our cue to leave....good nite out but nothing too special for me.

Much appreciated! Wait until you see us during Halloween-week... if you think 25-30 swedes can bring a party, wait and see what 40-50 of us can do....

Have you heard of Arash or DJ Ali Payami?

I've noticed the Swedish love chewing tobacco. Chewing tobacco isn't that common here. Smoking def is.
