Just moved to San Diego from Toronto where electronic music is as alive as ever. Where to I go or look to get some beats!

What about local talent in the san diego area at small venues, i love attending these types of events.

Beware that if your fav dj is spinning at on broadway, you'll get a 90-minute set, regardless of who it is. Nice sounds and decent lighting (all from above), but it's become too much of a hassle to go there these days. I hate hate hate going to short sets

If you go on a day when it's a widely known dj (such as benny benassi), you'll spend more time getting ready, going to OB, and WAITING IN LIIIIIIIIIIIINE to get in (if you get the discounted $15 guestlist). There's no wait if you want to pay $25, but LOL if you do..

Stick with Spin, I personally can't wait for Cosmic Gate on 10/31.. their nocturnal set simply blew me away. Spin is even better than OB b/c you're away from the scenesters of the gaslamp, and their soundsystem is great

get dinner reservations at on broadway on big nights(benny bennassi) and you skip the waits and the covers.
BTW, $25 sounds cheap, it got to $45 saturday in SF the next night,
