Yup, it will get a LOT worse too before it gets better.

Luckily they can't really put many of the things they will discover on Americans in the spotlight for several more years until we become acclimated to being spied on, similar to the UK.

You know, its funny how we think of things like the fall of empires as absolute ends, when in fact they are usually gradually degrading shades of grey into the same thing.

Take Rome for example. We think of the Republic which Caesar ended crossing the Rubicon 700 years after its inception, and its end with the sacking of its walls by the Barbarians it let in, mostly through outsourcing their armies to independent contractors. Sounds familiar, eh?

But really it ended up molding how we consider the white nations of the world, which molded the other nations of the world, as America will.

I think the "big game" in the eye of the species itself will be the colonization of space; like any elemental lifeform, we have to become airborne in order to maximize efficiency, and whether we're immune or viral will play a part in whether the greater system itself lives or dies.

I think a lot of people are concerned with the return of the troops and the outsourced military. Mercenaries work for the highest bidder. ... Haliburton moved it's head office to Dubi ...

The Chinese just did (are about to do?) thier first space walk. The US can't get people to the space station any more ...

Colinization is something I can really see 'humanity' getting behind. Almost like the idea of humans ending war with each other to fight the 'alien' in Watchmen, but without the death.

PS. Has anyone seen any other credibile news sources that show developed nations deploying at home?
