VJ BANDIT (http://www.Projektunderdog.ca);
Since his first show at Velvet club on Valentines Day 2008, VJ Bandit has been one of the hardest working and most versatile VJs in Montreal. With over 40 live performances under his belt in only 8 months time, Bandit has left no stones unturned. His visuals have hypnotized and entranced crowds at some of the premiere EDM venues in Montreal. From the posh world of Socit des arts Technologiques and Club Opera, to the late-night/early morning ravers at Circus Afterhours Main Room. Projekt Underdog's flavorful techno parties are this VJs meat and potatoes, but his experience with parties has run the gamut. From techno, trance, house, hip-hop, hard rock, experimental indie rock, and even a wedding!, Bandit has done it all. His unique home-made nocturnal cinematics have also been present alongside international 'A-list' DJ's such as Preach, Ferry Corsten, and Eric Entrena. If theres good music involved, Bandit will be there. No bar is too small, nor club too big.

MOEVALITH (http://www.Projektunderdog.ca);
"Felt hat, nails painted black, and the fury intense: at 21, Moevalith appeared number one on James Zabielas 2006 April Top 10 Chart, and his fan-base keeps growing in and out of Montreal. Organizing underground EDM nights at Velvet Club since April 2oo7, including the very successful TecktoniQ 0.1 January 5th, Electro Chic: Underdog Limited @ SAT May 23rd and Boomtisk 1 @ Mile End Bar July 25th. Playing a dark, twisted and cutting edge tek sound distinctly his own, Moevalith has managed to build a reputation for himself worthy of a star in the making. His managerial skills shine through his determination, leadership and vision of his latest creation, Projekt Underdog." - Nikola Grozdanovic & Paul Melancon

MAHER DANIEL (Harem Records/Familia/Symphonic Records);
"Every now and then we read about people doing amazing things, and every now and then we hear people doing amazing things. One of those people is Maher Daniel. With throbbing bass lines and blissful melodies, complimented by that glitched out techy edge, waves of people see themselves moving to the sounds generated from this energetic youngster. With 2 years under his belt as both a DJ and a producer, who would have known all this would come so fast. Maher can be caught gracing the decks on a frequent basis at one of North Americas best clubs, Stereo Afterhours, and warming up for some of the biggest talents out there such as Sultan, Lee Burridge and Desyn Masiello. Maher frequently makes appearances outside of his home base of Montreal as well. His production skills have clearly excelled, boasting a solid 12 releases on labels such as Sick Watona, Pure Substance and Reversible Records, as well as forthcoming releases on Symphonic and new imprint Harem Records by production duo Sultan and Ned Shepard. With all this he has also been hand picked by the duo to run their A&R at Harem. With the help of industry experts and friends who have been in the scene, Maher has been able to tweak his sounds on the dance floor to bring about unique and flawless sets creating a household name for himself in the industry."

What kind of music are you playing Mayer? I hope you have picked up the tempo a bit? You should really try playing Techno. I think it is your kinda music. Forget about house - everybody is doing that. I think you really have a niche in Techno.

Check out some jeff mills on You tube.

Posted by Ravemontreal on Oct-22-2008 05:48:

?

So you don't know what he plays, but you already suggesting to do something else? And implying that everybody plays like him?

If he was playing like Jeff Mills, then his name wouldn't be Maher Daniel, it would be fkn Jeff Mills.

insulting.

What about me?

I do agree that Mayer plays a bit slow.

I say him at Stereo a couple years back. All my friends (newbies) left because most people where sitting down and bored. I kept saying it would get better but they didn't beleieve me and left before lee burridge came on.

Anyways, his mixing was really good. So I guess that is all that matters.

1st- If you wanna hear Jeff Mills ( go see Jeff Fucking Mills) alright ?
2nd- Every Dj has his own style, live with it.
3rd- Don't tell someone that knows more than you what he should play, just makes you look stupid.
4th- Why don't you go out and tell that to the DJ in his face and not behind a computer.
5th- I don't think there's much DJs in this world that wanna be like other DJs, its called being original and unique.

Btw im Hakim Guelmi from Projekt Underdog, don't listen to my shait if you wanna hear something like Jeff Mills alright ?

Piece

be careful, sometimes he bites for less than that

projectgreen, you're a dumbass ! but alt or no alt, thank you sooooo much for the laughs....

Posted by projectgreen on Nov-02-2008 23:13:

Are you guys really serious?

I thought forums are where you can express your opinions about stuff. I have only done that, and I get ripped?

What is an alternative, alternative music?

I don't get it?
