amateur track

Hey,

I'm just starting out trying to produce trance/techno. After reading some of the FAQs and beginner threads around here, I hammered out something that I thought was half decent and now I'm looking for feedback from people who actually know what they're doing. I'm using free sequencers and instruments at the moment (but saving up for Sonar or Reason) so don't expect too much.

If you've got a minute, could you give a listen and tell me what you think:

ha speedyshare now were talking .

here goes .

intro ok , hihats panning a little to hard i think

lead at 25 secs and 40 secs sound a little cheesey , need some work on those.
Bassline is good
next lead sound ok but a bit of reverb wouldnt go a miss i think

Not keen on the main melody tune wise

best bit for me is at 3.22

Overall not bad for a learner on free software , but get your paid software , learn it and re do this tune with some good old trancey sounds.

Poor track, and indeed try to rebuild it with a better software.

The original idea in the track is good.
