is 2,500 pounds a lot for a car? that seems like a good deal.

price: can't tell you anything about prices since I am not familiar with prices @ the UKmarket, but translated into holland standards it looks like an good deal (I mean, ONLY 20000 miles... that's like new!)

quite a decent quality... from the VW-empire, so quality shouldn't be an issue..

I'll search some info on what too look out for when to buy

hmmm only 60 bhp... not the fastest car in the world I see... but if that is not a problem.. nothing going on so far

ah, found!

strong points( + ):
- good build quality (interior materials, stuff like that)
- relatively nice priced (compared to vw's polo on which it is based)
- good manouverability

weak points ( - ):
- relatively stiff suspension
- comfort is not the best in it's class

look out for:
- bad exhausts
- broken clutch- & gascable
- broken V-belt(s)

looks like a good car to me bit slow however.

make sure you drive a proper end with the car and find out if you like the car (I mean, you are looking at that dashboard for the next years and YOU have to drive in it)

.. and always question yourself: do I want to pay this amount of money for this car (ps: it is NOT forbidden to offer less money then asked )

i dont particularly like that car, in red it makes it look crap to me!
but it only has 20,000 and thats nothing, woth �2,500 and it also has a good resale value so to sell it along the line wouldnt cost you alot less than what you bought it for, just look out for rust, but since its got 12 monthx MOT id say thats not a major problem just 12 months down the line youve got to think if its worth the extra money to fix if can't pass MOT just my thoughts

im getting my mum's 1.0 Corsa lol slow as anything but insurance is as low as anything and im gonna mod up my car and then 3 years down the line get a 2.0i engine conversion then it would be amazing!!! lol

Heres my 2 cents....

make sure you drive it to see how it runs.. look under the car and in the engine and such for holes or any obvious leaks.. check for rips in seats, etc.. make sure there has been no accidents: check for diff paint color anywhere or dents, and so on.

whatever, i dont know much about the car since im US. Just be SURE you wan to buy and look for ANY reason to lower the price
