Sad

*Blue Planet Corporation - Digital Foward
*Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren Universal Religion Mix)
*Li Kwan - Point Zero
*Bedrock - Heaven Scent
*Kai Tracid - Too Many Times

heh.. call me strange but i find all those tunes frightening but i still love them....

Digital Foward.. omg. the first time i heard it it was so freaky but at the same time so hypnotizing. it felt like ur on a trippy journey but u dont know when its gonna and u cant stop it urself cuz its hypnotic lol.. but i guess the thrill of that song also make is a great song.. i think that holds true with many psych songs or psych influenced.. like point zero

dido.. well that song i find scary b/c of the vocals... its a very sad tune.. so ghostly.... but very intense and very beautiful

hrmm mebbe ive just got a wild imagination hehehe

Try listening to either of these two tunes on good headphones in a dark empty house in the middle of the night...

The Delta - Thing
The Delta - Pop

That's what I did the first time I downloaded them and it sent shivers down my spine and freaked the hell out of me. WARNING: The sheer amount of bass in these productions cannot be fully appreciated without a subwoofer... They really must be heard on a huge system. sound like shit on shitty speakers...

Rammstein - Eifersucht

A lot of the Rammstein tunes scare me most by how sadistic the vocals sound:

Deep dark progressive is pretty scary and cool at the same time too

Posted by uberclkgtr on May-31-2002 01:40:

listen to

satoshi tomiie - virus (main path)

really loud in a dark room and try not to be frightened.

Posted by raver31 on May-31-2002 01:43:

ahaha my friend has one of the older albums of rammstein. dont know the title. i heard the new ones suck camel nuts. anyways, whenever we drive in his car and one of their songs comes up my friend always sticks out his hand out of the window and fuckin flaps it and salutes like a nazi and hails hitler. ahhaha hes fuckin obsessed with that shit. and hes a fuckin pole too. so go figure.

thats what the song IS about....

I love the deep progressive stuff like Satoshi Tomiie and Tarantella & Redanka and even some Cass & Slide cuz the grooves are just so deep they scare you.

It's also scary how they can construct basslines so powerful.

The Horrorist - One night in new york city Original and pascal F.E.O.S mix.

The dialogue is sick, and very disturbing.

I got so hammered and so stoned then listened to Bedrock - Heaven Scent, I just about went insane. I had a brutal day and I probably shouldn't have been as messed as I was. Every thime I hear that track it brings back bad memories of that night

anne clark - our darkness (total eclipse remix)
Canyon - Agitator (c.l. mcspadden and lysa oldham mix)

I love dark trance, but I have so little! Wicked acidlines and dark melodies! I want more!

Posted by Cobalt on May-31-2002 02:38:

And Taylor - Slide, if the atmosphere is right.

Dark Progressive -- the stuff the underground was made on! Conjures all sorts of cool images of subterrainian nightclubs.

Music can "scare" people? Now that's new to me..

If you want mystique-sounding electronic music, I'd say Cass & Slide - Opera... Especially the Stealth mix.. Not scary, more like haunting..
