"Free" one way flight on virgin america
They fly out of LA and SF to places such as seattle, DC, NYC,SF,LA,San diego, las vegas
the catch is you sign up for their credit card, if anyone is interested, pm with your email and i'll forward the email i received from them.
That's a pretty generic deal for opening a new line of credit. Southwest does the same by offering 8 (currently 9) Rapid Rewards just for opening a new credit card with them. That's half of a RT (or a one-way flight), just like this promotion. You can also up your rewards to a full 16 RRs (1 RT award) if you have balances on other cards and transfer them over (I think $1200 per RR). JetBlue has had similar offers too.
I went with Southwest's credit card and rewards program because we fly out of SNA/SJC every weekend. If VA operated more routes, I would definitely go with them. For the regular LAX traveler though, it's a pretty good option.

I love Virgin America's cartoon in the beginning of the flight that shows where the exits are and should the cabin pressure go down....
Totally made me lol first time I saw it.
