Live Setlists
Hi,
I have been a listener of EDM for sometime but I am not involved in the "scene" like most of you. I have never been to a live set or had the opportunity to listen to some of the artists live except for store bought cd's. I would like to know if you could be so kind and direct me to where I could download some live sets, that in your opinion, are some of the best sets you have ever heard. To help you out with my tastes in EDM - I really enjoyed the Chicane set from 1-22-00 at the Pallidium. I also enjoy music from Sander Van Doorn, Tiesto's Club Life podcast and Ferry Corsten's older stuff among other things.
I know most of you consider them cheesy but I dont know alot of the artists that you veterans think tear it up.
Any help for this noob is much appreciated.
Thanks
Definitely check out Gareth Emery's various podcasts. I believe he releases them weekly. I'd also recommend the Anjunabeats and the Anjunadeep podcasts/internet radio shows, they are both great. I also believe that Sander Van Doorn releases his own podcasts. Also, I'd say to check out Pete Tong's Essential Mix which features a 2 hour set every week from a different DJ. You can download that through bitTorrent.

Plenty of material here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...p?s=&forumid=73
Dude, do whatever it takes to get yourself to a good party. For one, it will be amazing, and for two, you will find you like and appreciate edm genres you currently can't, or have just never heard. Your mind is in for a good surprise.
Thanks all. Help is much appreciated.
