Hey guys, well... since i have like 30 records and i have NO cleaning kit yet to clean my records and my Needles, sometimes since some records are dirty, the needle get dirty also giving a bad sound, so i just remove that dirty(Dust) with my fingers... is this wrong?? it happened frequently, i dont know about Needles, mine are ones called --Pickering--, so guys what do u recomend me??

fingers = BAD!!!

Unless it is a cheap stylus and you dont care if you have to replace it......

otherwise goto your record shop and get a needle brush. Very small and simple to use.

hehe im guilty of using my fingers sometimes

it just seems like the quick way of doing it lol

my ortofons havent been damaged yet...they are the workhorse of all carts

i use my fingers all the time

i won't actually touch the stylus though
ill just grab a corner of the fluff that is built up and it usually all just peels off

and im sure if you dont have steady hands you could just blow lightly at it to knockit all off
