What's up with the moon?
Does anybody know why the moon looks the specific way that it does at the current time? I should note that I live in Mississauga (Mavis and 401) and, so, perhaps not all of you will see what I see. When I look out the window I see a bunch of clouds gathered together; in the very middle is the moon shinning bright; and immediately around the moon there is a coloured circle! It looks like an eclipse (were we expecting one)? The circle features red, brown, and orange colours.
What's the reason?

First time you've noticed? I've seen that effect around the moon many times! I think it's just an atmospheric thing.
You should look at the sky more often!

Funnily enough...we were just talking about this last night while sitting around the fire at the bf's parents house (admiring the huge ring around the moon). The sky was awesome!

This thread makes me think of the new Discovery Channel commercial:
The world is just awesome!
