Review: Thanksgiving Monday at The Basement

could it be that the world of after-hours ended this summer on a solid note?

Addy made his first return since the renovations to the club and it looks like he brought the crowd back with him. While things have been steadily improving the last few weeks, yesterday had to have been counted as a rousing success as we walked into a very hot and very full dancefloor.

no body does that early morning timeslot better than addy and he proved it YET again friggen fantastic.

with the good reviews coming out of zone, and cherry beach later on (didnt make it hear..tired), thanksgiving was stretched to its limit. good stuff!

now whose up for bailey/santana, cox and mastiksoul

I popped in for a visit a couple of weeks ago to see Numaro on a Wednesday, and was thoroughly impressed by the soundsystem (and new layout)

Yeah, every week there has gotten better and better and it was so nice to see Addy come back and tear it up!!!!

Addy also comented on how nice the system is now...

I was pretty sick with some stupid head cold, so I could only stay for Addy's set--but I certainly wasn't disappointed. The club was pretty rammed too, lots of energy and vibe. Major bummer I could only last a few hours.

Good to see Addy back and killing it as the legends tell of him doing it at Zone on all those early Sunday mornings.

Thanks for the download Jalalinator! Sounds sic on my car stereo...which of course what the basement owners based their new sound system on. You know.

Yes, the room has great sound now...I had a blast playing there. I think the Basement has great potential for a being a nice alternative to the Zone...with some refreshingly different beats as well. A congrats to everyone involved for hanging in there and making this happen!
