Magadansky - Oh No! [Dark/Goa Influenced ProgPsy]

Hi guys, long time no see!

Here is a set I made just for fun. Most of the tracks are darker but there are some more melodic or goa influenced tracks. BPM range is about 136 to 144 (if I remember correctly ). Don't expect perfect transitions since as I already mentioned it is just a fun set which I hope you can still enjoy!

Here is the tracklist for those who want to know before listening:
1. Vibrasphere - Autopilot
2. Bioluminescence - Natural Habitat
3. Midi Miliz - Feet in the Air
4. Son Kite - Openfaced
5. P.O.T.S. - Daemons of Negativity
6. X-Dream - Ultratube (Pascal F.E.O.S. Remix)
7. Beat Bizarre - Brain Drain (Remix)
8. Star Sounds Orchestra - Washington
9. Ticon - Mr. Leatherman
10. Stefan Gubatz - Der Achte Tag
11. Etnoscope - Fast Licking
12. Adrenalin Drum - Devil Inside
13. Human Blue - Epsilon
14. Adrenalin Drum - Anguish

I'll give it a listen.. Haven't been into prog-psy lately, but seeing as you used a Star Sound Orchestra track, I gotta check this out...

Missed out on commenting in depth on the first 30 mins.. but it was good.. and now I will finish a review while I listen..

31:45.. Very nice track.. Darkness! ... I've been loving the darker slower pace, I just don't know if its Prog... I personally don't think so.

Set is rolling along nicely... Deep and Dark with some "High Energy"..

Nice mellow break at 48mins..

Rolling along again nicely 53mins.. No idea where I am in the track list tho.. hahaa

This is some twisted stuff at 58mins.. DEFINITELY not prog.. haha. Banging track!!

Loving the end of this set.. the last 20 mins really shines thru..

I usually don't listen to much prog stuff, but this is very good. I really like the mood and feel of all the tracks. Very well mixed, and all the tracks have similar elements that make them all fit together. Well done.

Thanks for the feedback J:\Digital, ziptnf and Philby!

Ye I know that this isn't entirely prog but the last 20 min I didn't know how to label. Maybe just psy with a night feel lol!

Looking forward to the opinions by those who didnt listen yet!

Deffo not prog, and not really my cuppa, but you did an outstanding job with progression whilst keeping the overall atmosphere of the mix dark, almost brooding

Mixing is pretty much spot on too, good stuff!

Good stuff, nice and dark.

That Beat Bizarre track is great, as is the Vibrasphere one. Never would have guessed that track was theirs.

Thanks for the feedback Chris and kr00t0n.

This Vibrasphere track is from their early works, thats why it sounds very strange compared to their new material! But it's still a very very good one!

Let's bump this just once!

Just thought I'd let you know I really enjoyed this set. I put it on while studying and the time flew by (bad music distracts me). If you put up any more sets similar to this one, please let me know.

Currently devouring your ambient sets

Well I posted here so many sets that I dont think that even I have them all now. Most of them were progpsy so you can search if you dig this style, the others are mostly goa and ambient.

I will post here more sets as well so keep an eye to this subforum! Cheers for listening!
