Midi solution

my setup right now is:

pioneer 800 mk2 x2
djm-400

I am going to be upgrading my mixer soon and preferably would like to upgrade to a mixer that I can still use my CDJ's with and connect to ableton/laptop since I really like the looping/functionality in ableton.

what would be my best solution?

Xone 92?
Korg Zero4?

how do they sound?

and what other sorts of things would I need to get this working w/ my laptop.. I don't have an external soundcard or anything.. and judging by most of the vids ive seen on youtube it looks like most of them are using traktor and not ableton.

I hear the eclers sound great. up there with the Xones.

Both the evo 4 and 5 already have an internal soundcard built in, so no need for an external one.

the evos are pretty much fully assignable... you can use all 5 channels as midi.
