Magnus - Lifeforce / Fluid Motion [Pharmacy]

Anyone else pick this one up? Awesome

"Pharmacy Music is proud to introduce Magnus, a trance prodigy from Seattle.Both tracks border the traditional trance and the psy trance boundaries." Lifeforce" is a pumping melodic trance number while "Fluid Motion" has been a staple in Christopher Lawrence'sclub playlists for some time and is now featured on the the new double CD by John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence titled Global Trance Grooves Presents Two Tribes. This is a very strong follow up release to Pharmacy's debut release, "Beyond The Limit"."

From these samples, I'd say 'Life Force' sounds amazing and 'Fluid Motion' sounds horrendous - makes my teeth itch!

I'll defiantly be finding a place for Life Force in my sets :-)

they are both kinda similar, but life force edges out by a couple of lengths for me great tune

Not a silly question at all. Yes that is me. Jay and I are still working on projects together and have some for release on Pharmacy in the very near future.

As for the TTD remix, maybe I will go back at some point and give it a proper updating and see if it could get a proper release.

Although the track itself has no relation to the game, Lifeforce was one of my favorite games growing up, right next to Contra.

First off, thanks Domesticated!

Regarding the TTD remix and Lifeforce... It was actually the other way around. Lifeforce is actually almost 3 years old. Long after Lifeforce was made, I created the TTD remix at the request of a friend. Since Lifeforce at that point seemed destined to remain only on my hard drive, I decided to essentially use Lifeforce in a different key and put the TTD vocals overtop so that it would at least be used. I had no idea at the time Pharmacy would want the track years later or else I would have made the TTD remix from scratch.

Also, I noticed the Pharmacy PR said that they pushed the date forward on this one...Why do they take forever to release stuff? :P

Its out now, released on October 14th. Beatport, Audiojelly, etc. Or are you talking about another upcoming release?
