If The World Could Vote

Interesting site I came across today. It's like a worldwide poll of the USA Presidential Election.

Barack Obama 87.3% (227,632 votes)
John McCain 12.7% (33,041 votes)

It clearly tells you what the rest of the world wants, huh? Well, at least those of us who care.

I'll assume McCain voted for himself 33,000 times. The remaining 41 likely is where you'll find the margin of error.

This tells me that approximately 90% of McCain supporters in America are too thick to use the t'internet!

Anyway, this is a bullshit poll as there was no option for Brian Moore!

(Seriously tho, if you wanted a true analysis of how the rest of the world felt about the election it might have been very interesting to add all the other candidates...)

I never thought McCain would stand so good in Burkina Faso

Anyway, 87% in the US alone? That's not really a trustworthy poll..

Quite frankly I really doubt that 87% of people worldwide would vote for Obama. Remember, a lot of people in the world are huge racists. We talk about how there's racism in the US, but it's really nothing compared to, say, Eastern Europe, Russia, even Japan. Based on this fact I dispute the notion that Obama is so beloved by the world.

The world would actually vote for McCain.

Got anything to back up that statement? Because the serious polls that have been conducted around the world say otherwise.

As a matter of fact, in first world countries where you can say that the educational level of the population rates high (Germany, UK, France, Sweden, Denmark, etc.) the Democratic candidate has been preferred most of the time.

I have a feeling that you're right.

Neither of the two major candidates are any good, though.

No, no, the polls are wrong. All those people would actually vote for McCain, but say they would vote for Obama out of fear of being labeled a racist.

My grandmother is a racist and she's said that she'd STILL vote for Obama over McCain

And she's a life-long Republican!!

McCain is THAT bad.

Like I said, do you have anything to actually back up your statements? Just because that's your opinion or because the "Bradley Effect" is the new buzzword doesn't make it true.
