its a decent start, I would say take out the drums that come in at 19 sec, and try something else.

Why not finish the song before you get feedback on it?

feedback comes AFTER you finish something, not in the beginning stages of it. I don't want to listen to some crappy work-in-progress.

sounds like something that could potentially be good, would like to hear it when it's done. And I don't know if it was just me but the bass was a little too deep... keep up the good work

Yohan..don't you know...you are suppose to care about everyone who wants to produce something....and you call yourself a TA

This is dryer than the half bottle of Chardonnay I put back earlier. I'd try some filtering techniques to take the motifs you have already and keep them fresh while you fiddle with the arrangement and take it where you want.

I just pumped this out as a bit of an example, sorry if it's really raw - notice how I have the synth stacks at pretty much the same volume the length of the track but I low-pass them in to create more of a build and drive with less effort than adding in more elements and cluttering the field. I'm using pretty much the same percussive elements and small amounts of white noise to fill things out, just adding them in and taking them away at certain spots to keep the groove fresh.

Click here to see what I mean.

Stop cluttering TOTA with this shit.

Post it in the proper forum FFS: Music Producers Promotion

The rest of us who produce play by the rules and so should you.

So you're only interested in positive feedback - critics need not respond.

You just don't get it, do you? If you want anybody to care about your shit, you have to learn to deal with criticism. When you say "tell me how you feel about it", you really mean "tell me how awesome it is", and judging by the responses so far, I think almost everyone else on the forum has figured that out and doesn't feel like indulging you anymore.

We're not your fan club, we're real people, and asking real people to review something you've done means we might give out negative reviews. Deal with it.

i think its not bad but its definitely far from finished. you have a solid beat to work on and i like how your layering it, however it doesn't seem to really be going anywhere. i would work on a hook. something that will make it unique (not sampled) to set it apart from all the other tracks that have the same sound. I see the potential, keep pluggin away.

And yeah not everyone is going to like it. Some people are going to flat out hate it. But thats what its all about. If you can get just a couple people to really get into your sound and start following your productions, is it not worth it? Best of luck.

4 layers of beats/percs and a bassline are not worthy enough of even being called a song/track
