Missing headphone input in DJM-400

So i bought a DJM-400 this weekend at guitar center...and I just noticed theres no fuckin input for the headphones lol. Wtf?

^^that gold piece in the front is missing and instead its just a hole that leads nowhere. Now 2 things...I bought this on clearance so I'm guessing they won't return it, but will they be sympathetic at all?

Also... I got a flashlight and looked inside of it and I think the piece is actually inside the mixer. Is there any way to safely open this thing and check it out? I rather fix it myself and have it up and running ASAP.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

also i didnt notice it when i bought it because the clearance tag was right over it (how convenient for them right?)

damn I fucking hate guitar center, they sold me bent needles, used cases that were marked as new, a turntalbe with a messed up tonearm assembly, and they dont know shit about the equipment

there was only one good employee at my local store that vouched for me when i returned all that stuff, and even then i had to scream at the rest of the staff until the mamager gave me my money back

now I buy all my stuff from my local record shop, they let me test everything out before I buy equipment even when it is new out of the box, and I get it cheaper, plus they have 30 years experiance

You could try opening it, if that nut just came loose, the headphone jack probably slipped inside.

Obviously unplug it and be careful

The only other problem might be finding a nut to replace the one that's missing.

Does the mixer otherwise work ok? Be cautious, as the headphone jack being loose inside the mixer could short something else out.

Even so, I'd bitch at them. Asshats.

Fuck Guitar Center. They did the same thing on some used RP5s. They put the clearance tag over the dented portion of the speaker.

Please tell me it wasn't hard. I've got the exact same problem with my 400 but its coz my ex decided to rip the headphones out and smash em' on me after an argument.
I've been contemplating opening it myself to fix, but yeah don't want to damage it further. a washer shouldn't be hard to obtain.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Peace.
