Unhappy WebWasher

Yep, the worst thing possible has happened

Anyone know any sure-fire ways of bypassing? It recognises all anonymous proxies and language translators etc. im only able to surf now because I changed my proxy address in network settings, but they will close that loophole soon.

No, but all my forums and gaming sites are blocked which is a far bigger issue!

I bet looking for a new job after being fired for visiting blocked websites will make those "bigger issue" seem small in comparison.

ssh tunnel to your home computer. They can't block that.

I'm not sure, but this might work:

http://www.torproject.org/

It's very slow though.

I am pretty sure webwasher blocks that.

Or when your work blocks sites that are required to do your job, you gotta do what you gotta do when they refuse to unblock it.

Like I needed to get coverage maps for Sprint/Nextel outside of the US. The blocking service my old company used blocked it. I had to call Sprint/Nextel, sit on hold for 30 minutes, and then get transferred to a department that had regular internet access, yet they were still not sure if they had coverage in the areas this guy was going. It was a waste of an hour out of my already busy day that I could have been doing something else.

ok, but in general companies are right in doing this. There would be no blocking if people did not abuse. They pay you, you listen to what they want even if you don't agree.

Overall I don't disagree. That was one of the few instances.
