Thanks DJ ReDrum (great name, btw)! Aliciya and I are in the process of contracting another song with a label and it should be released in a few months. Other than that, I haven't really put a lot of effort into getting signed - between my family, career, making music, etc. I just don't have that much time!

dave this sounds fantastic! your vocal processing is really impressive, she sounds like shes floating above everything.

i do think you have a lot of frequencies open in the middle that could be filled post chorus as part of a Bprime section or something.

i do think the melodies panning are good but the only hook is the vocal and maybe something more needs to happen (musically) after.

anyways sounds great, good job.

Thanks you guys. We originally had a sidechained pad in there that we took out to clean up the mix a bit, but after listening to it for a few days and getting comments like yours, I think I'm going to try it (or a different variation) again to fill up the mix. I also feel like it could use some more 'oomph' in the low end.

Just a note to let ya'll know that we've updated the song and uploaded the new version. We made a bunch of changes, including Zombie0729' et al. suggestion to add some more instruments to fill in the mid frequencies and also added harmonies to the chorus.

Yep, this is quality mate well done I'd try and get some more action happening up in the high mids and the mix doesn't quite work (the vocals are a bit low in parts, some sounds are a bit dated) but its a really solid base to work from and definately deserves a big label signing IMO. Congrats

EDIT: when I say more action in the high mids, I mean a more defined melody in the main section, maybe on a pad or arp...
