Gordon Ramsay Appreciation Thread

I love watching Kitchen Nightmares yes. His new show F is pretty good too yes. It is funny as hell to see him call people cunts all through a show only to be a tender little bitch at the end yes. I also watch his show so much that i finish every sentence with yes like he does yes.

he's debuting a new show tomorrow night here where you're meant to cook along with him at home. Hells Kitchen & Kitchen Nightmares are both great though. Funny funny guy

Anytime I watched Hells Kitchen, I just couldnt help but laugh at how much he abused the hell out of the 'chefs'.

I've never heard one person curse as much as he does.

A real kitchen is like that yes. It is one of the hardest jobs to do yes, and it is essential to not beat around the bush yes.

I've worked in restaurants and never was the head chef cursing everybody out. A proper restaurant works like an assembly line, everyone knowing their roll, and being good at it. No need for some domineering boss breathing down everyone's back.

working at arby's is not working in a real kitchen yes. I went to culinary school yes, and i think i know what i am talking about yes. It is like the army yes...abuse is sometimes used to weed out the weak links yes...although maybe not on such an exaggerated level as on tv yes.

I've never worked in fast food, yes. I worked for rustic Italian restaurant yes. The owner was the head chef yes. YES.

At your age with no training yes, i doubt you worked in a high end culinary establishment yes. You can call Olive Garden by any name you want yes, but it is still shit yes.

It's always interesting to watch him give a compliment. Him saying "Well Done" is like getting a handjob for being the best person on earth. He sets the bar so low that a "you're decent" type of comment is like being hailed king.

Can't fault a guy who could have made it to the top of one industry only to get injured (was nearly a professional footballer at glasgow rangers) then to start over and reach the very top of another.

The shows are quite funny, yes?, but it shouldn't mask that he does have three stars, and those aren't handed out like sweeties.

When I was in Australia I watched an Australian show with Gordon Ramsey that had him raising pigs with some ladies I believe somewhere in the countryside. It was really weird, there was like nothing about cooking in that show.

Anyway I love watching Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen, suc great pieces of entertainment. I thought it was pretty shitty that the guy from the last episode sold his restaurant only 5 months after Gordon helped him rebuild it.

the thing is yes, is that he is an asshole because it fucking works yes. not just to be an asshole yes...also it makes for great tv yes. especially when some idiot losing his shirt thinks he knows more than a multi millionaire with many successful enterprises yes.

funny thing is in culinary school the first thing they teach you is how to take charge and reign in your staff before you even get to touch food yes. The first week is like army basic training yes, you get called every name under the sun yes. Go back to investing monopoly money yes.
