ANDY MOOR!!!! Finally the man comes to Los Angeles!
hey guys first time poster, long time lurker! just thought id let you guys know Andy fucking Moor is gonna be at the WinterFresh Festival in LA on Dec 6!!!!!!! Used to promote for the crew and suggested to the head that they book Andy, and guess what, THEY DID!! Has anyone seen him spin before, and if so how was it!!!??
One of my top three DJ's to see live! Saw him earlier this year in Denver.

One of the best in the trance area...
I played with him at RED last time he was out here, april 2007. He was a mess, fuckin taking cds out the cdj while they were playing and throwing them in the crowd an yelling at everybody. He was all fucked up. Must have cut the music out more then once. great producer though
I saw him in 05? maybe it was 06 when the trance craze still had momentum....
This was his first LA appearance at a small xxx person venue.. he put the mixer in the red the entire night, blew out main sound system because he peaked it so hard with the EFX. Cutting out the sound, it was awful.
Proceeded to turn the clipping monitors towards the crowd and kept playing wasted off his ass.
Oh, what a night...

He gets really moody. I mean like really. He drinks a lot before/after/during his sets. Sometimes the guy is funny as hell, but many times he whines about the sound systems 
He's probably better in a smaller environment. I went to a small party at WMC this year and there were maybe 20 of us hanging out and that was fine. He played a nice little set.
andy moor and sean tyas represent big time. You will not be dissapointed with moor. Cant wait to see him in Denver again soon
I had doubts for the longest time about Andy....always hearing these stories and just his dimeanor as a whole... but when he played at Ruby earlier this year, I didn't see any of that. He played a solid set and was obviously having a great time dancing and jumping around. headbutting balloons (hehe).
After that night, I was telling who knows Andy a little about it and he basically said that he's found his love for DJing or music or something again and he's enjoying himself now...or something like that, I forget exactly what he said, but something to that extent.
I will be seeing Andy Moor here in SF the night before most likely, supposing his MySpace calendar turns out to be true. It would be a Spudnae night..maybe I should bug someone to see if it's happening!
I remember when he played at circus when spundae was still there, tried to pick up aj outside on the patio and face planted into the trash can and fell on his ass lol.

Think I will definitely be checking him out. Either way it should be a good show. Either he'll be on point and playing a great set or fucked up out of his mind and be hilarious. Sounds like fun
Andy Moor is a great producer and a fantastic DJ. That is, is when he isn't trainwrecking due to being overdosed on soft and or hard drugs. Saw him once in San Diego where in the middle of his set, he left the decks to hang out and puke in the bathroom. He then chatted it up with some fans to where the promoters had to rescue hime and get him back on.
He did do a great job opening for Above and Beyond at Nocturnal at this year's WMC in Miami.
Funny dude though.

when i was playing at circus, he came up to get on the decks. First time i met him, he walks up and tells me he has a bday present for me. Proceeds to dig into his pockets. My next track is prepped, im like hurry up guy wtf you have in your pocket.
He pulls out a little torn off piece of paper with a stick man on it. The stick man has a record in his hand and a big ol dick. It says in complete chicken scratch
"happy bday, have lots of gifts and things, its called a bday love andy"
i was like, is this guy for real? and proceeded to mix my next track. I heard dez was at his hotel and had mentioned to him that a bday boy was opening for him or something. I guess its the thought that counts. lol, i have a funny ass picture of him explaining it to me lol, gotta find it and post

I met him at Pearl like 2006, not that great of a DJ...
But an exceptional Producer!

it happens all the time when artist/dj are booked to spin and some
party way too much before their set and forgot they're there to work,
things get messy
