Petar Dundov - Escapements LP
I can't believe nobody has made a posting about this yet. I've been waiting to get a copy and today I finally did. I read a really good review and really enjoyed some of the EP's this guy released this year 9Oasis, Waterfall, etc...). This album seems pretty unique. I'll post my full thoughts once I've given it a go.
You can listen to some samples here
DUDE i just showed that to my friend this morning. There's something really organic and emotional about those tracks that makes me want to buy the whole goddam 4xLP. None of it is mind blowing but you can tell its a production that came from the heart.
The total opposite of that LP would be a Dubfire remix...if that makes sense...
lol I see what you're saying. Yea a lot of electronic music today is sort of purpose-built like tools whereas this is stands very well on it's own. Very moody and organic sounds, I'm liking it so far.
BTW it's available on CD, IDK about a vinyl release.

Def a 4 pack vinyl for it...costs like 40 beans tho. I like it because every track has its own side. I hate b-sides w/ 2 tracks on them, or even worse, the dreaded 4 tracker.
uke:

she is purple is the one that grabs me

good easy listening, quality stuff! very nice production, a bit old school - without the boring heavy compression and usual stuff...
haven't expected this from him - heard the guy live once, totally different music ( and he was great)
worth a buy def
Petar dundov is definately one of europes best tecno producers however after hearing the pre releases oasis and waterfall and how good they both were, i was kind of disappointed with that the rest of the album had to offer. It's by no means bad, I just expected something that would blow me away.
Glad to finally see a local do something impressive
Sounds great. Sparkling Stars, Kanon and Rain are my favs.
Oasis sounds familiar.
