Never heard the original, but I heard from some people it sucks. That being said, I like this.

well this track aint half bad all well spaced out but it was maybe
to spaced out and so lost its tenshion/drive.

Haven't heard the original but fuck that kick drum is irritating. Needs a low pass (opinion).
