dual layer discs failing?

i'm trying to burn an .iso file roughly 7gb on a dual layer disc in nero, but it keeps failing it sucks how i've wasted 3 discs now since they're not that cheap yet. Am i missing something that needs to be done to make it work?

what error message is it giving u?

Any money says it's cheap media.

DO NOT:
Purchase Memorex Dual-Layer DVDs.

DO:
Purchase your copy of Omnisphere.

i can't even remember what the error msg is.

i am using memorex, but they've always proven good in the past?

lol, its actually a homemade movie thats about 50mins in high quality. I could compress further, but its less of a pain in the ass to keep it and just put on a DL if it'll actually fuckin work.

well unless its in HD, u could just put it in standard resolution and 50 mins should fit on a regular dvd

I'm guessing that it is a re-enactment of Mr. Hands

burn at slowest speed...

try to use sony cd blanks

Posted by exstasie on Oct-28-2008 02:26:

i just burned 2 DL discs this evening.

I had to burn a 2 8gb iso files, but they have to proper layer break.

Could it have something to do with the layer break?

PS.

Always burn on the lowest speed using good media.

I always use Verbatim media (definitely one of the best) at 2x.

Good luck!

PS.

Gears of War 2
