Visiting NY in Nov.
Was trying not to make a thread so I posted my info in the NYC Visitor Thread but I got no response and I'm going soon so I made this thread. Mods delete if you have to.
Hey guys. Me and the g/f will be visiting NY from the 10th-16th of November. I was looking at the party planner and I didn't see too many events posted for that time frame that I was interested in except for the Paco Osuna event. But in any case I wanted to know the local gems in regards to
-Dining
-Bars
-Clubs(Techno, House)
-Random shit to do
and also
-Boat Parties(if any)
-How to get to atlantic city
-Stuff worth visiting
I've been to NY before and I have gone to most of the regular tourist places, etc but she has never gone so what do you guys recommend. We are staying in a hotel in the upper west side of Manhattan I believe.
So yeah just wanted to know what local bars, restaraunts, etc to go to and which ones to avoid. Also what is the best way to get around? Last time I remember riding the subway a lot before 9pm and after it was usually taxi. Also which places should I avoid(dangerous) and just general tips for walking around in the city. Thanks guys.

To get to Atlantic city...most card/stationary/smokeshops sell shuttle bus tickets. You buy a ticket and the bus picks you up at that location and you have a few hours to gamble and then they take you back to where they picked you up.
Here is one example but there are plenty more..

sweet keep the suggestions coming. What about nice places to eat? I want to take the lady out for some fine dining.
Food
-Steak: Strip House, Wollesky, Peter Luger (all expensive)
-Healthier: Josie's
-Upper east side(walk up 2nd Ave from 77th-80th) and there are probably 20 restaurants you would like to eat at.
if you want authenticity: go to Crown Fried Chicken all over queens

Plus do some night time hookah and take a walk over the Brooklyn bridge. Great views
sweet man. I appreciate the help. Now were talking.

Museums
Guggenheim

euphorias suggestions are good, but a few of those are full blown clubs... not really good if you just want to chill out somewhere, without having to pay a cover.
Thats fine. I want to catch a few big room clubs anywayz. Thanks guys, you don't know how valuable this info is to me. What casino do you guys suggest for Some Texas Hold em? I'm looking more into Tourney over cash games. Thanks.
one last bump. Have most of my shit planned out but wanted to know if their was anything else I'm missing. Also wondering where the best residents played at techno wise. I'm not expecting Lee burridge or Konrad Black but I would love some quality tunage. Thanks.
