why does skin colour matter?

but to answer your question, no, but crimes do happen everywhere. detroit is a LOT more dangerous and it is just across the water.

edit: and what do you mean by a "canadian girl"? im going to assume that you mean she was white. well, heres a little fact for you... i am canadian (born and raised) and i am not white.

I've lived in Windsor my whole life and have never encountered any serious danger. There a crimes and murders in every city.

Also...I'm wondering of further details of this case. Last weekend around 2 in the morning a cab was seen randomly going onto the wrong side of the road and smashing through a bus stop in the 7-11 parking lot by the University. I didn't see it happen, but I saw the remnants of it that night when Ian and I were walking to 7-11 after the bar. A friend of mine said she saw it happen and the cab driver just randomly went through the bus stop...he wasn't try to swerve out of anyone's way or anything. I wonder if it's connected. I doubt it though b/c the scene wasn't blocked off or anything, and nothing was cleaned up when I saw it. The area that that attack happened though is right near the Windsor Jail and in a bad area of town.

That neighbourhood is ghetto, subsidized housing and townhouses..

He would have been dead if it happened the same way accross the bridge in Detroit USA.

There's no crime or murder in Cambridge.

Except the traffic on Franklin. Which they want to solve by replacing every single stoplight with a roundabout.

That little pocket of Windsor is absolutely godless.. College, Felix and Wigle are fucking bonkers after dark - Second only to Drouillard & Wyandotte IMO

gosh, can we stop jumping on him like this? so what if he pointed out that one was white and one was black?

But he didn't say one was white and one was black (Not that skin colour should matter anyways).

He said one was Canadian and one was Negro...

Canada is a multinational country and Canadians represent many skin colours.

They way it was written made it seem like the 'negro' was not a Canadian.

But in the same sense I will allow him to get away with his ignorance as he clearly does not know much about Canada. And he did apologize

+1

dude doesn't know anything about this country... his way of speaking is much different than ours... we shouldn't judge him especially when he used the term "negro"... i haven't heard that in years!

exactly as soon as he posted saying he's never been here, that was enough... for some reason when I read his initial post I immediately knew what he meant, hmmm!
