@ 9om Wednesday Primetime TV, 11 FOX

it was on at 8, pretty good message

Posted by scarlett on Oct-30-2008 05:15:

f*cking newspaper.
What was the essence of his message ?

Posted by mar46017 on Oct-30-2008 05:19:

It was on NBC (4) as well.

Basically it showed middle class families who are struggling to make ends meet and how he will tailor to them.

A half hour commercial/show. Many other Senators speaking for him and saying how he would do great in office and how he has done great in the Senate etc.

La times is reporting that florida early voting is in mccains favor even though more democrats have voted...i lost the link to the article but its out there.

Democrats are beaming that their party is outperforming the Republicans in early voting, releasing numbers Wednesday that show registrants of their party ahead 54 percent to 30 percent among the 1.4 million voters who have gone to the polls early.
"We're thrilled at the record turnout so far," said Democratic Party of Florida spokesman Eric Jotkoff. "It's a clear indication that Democrats want to elect Barack Obama and Democrats up and down the ballot so that we can start creating good jobs, rebuilding our economy and getting our nation back on track."

But party breakdowns for turnout aren't the same as final tallies, and at least one poll offered a different view for the campaign of Republican John McCain.

A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.

And Republicans continued to show a traditional strength, leading 50 percent to the Democrats' 30 percent in the 1.2 million absentee ballots already returned.

The people who have voted early in Florida don't constitute a scientific poll. It could well be that many of them are in parts of the state with a heave Republican base such as the pan handle and the Tampa area.

i understand what you guys are saying, the thing thats making me go

is that 54%-30% democrat/republicans have voted, yet according to this poll the results are mccain 49%-obama 45% that means that 1/3 of the registered democrat voters had been voting mccain

Don't get stressed about what the LA times is saying; What better way to make sure the youth votes (notoriously bad at early voting) than put a story out there that McCain is ahead?

The Dems are just cleverly managing the lead they have to make sure Democratic voters don't get complacent in thinking they have it in the bag, and therefore don't vote (because they think enough people have already).

The largest populated areas in Florida are primarily latino and black. They are currently voting 70-30 in Obama's favor, and these groups don't predominately vote early. So, when polling day comes, expect to see a big jump in figures for Obama.

The only slightly worrying thing is Operation Choas - if that shit is true then every possible real democratic voter needs to get out there, otherwise another election will have been stolen. I don't even want to think what will happen in every major city if Obama loses and all it's because it was stolen.

Actually no, check this out:

Three out of four white supremacists prefer Obama to McCain.

Tom Metzger, Director White Aryan Resistance
"McCain... Hes a scary, scary person -- more
dangerous than Bush. Obama, according to his
book, Dreams Of My Father, is a racist and
I have no problem with black racists."

Erich Glieber, Chairman, National Alliance
"Obama... Hes a very intelligent man, an
excellent speaker and has charisma... My only
problem with Obama is perhaps hes not
black enough.

Rocky Suhayda, Chairman, American Nazi Party
White people are faced with either a negro or
a total nutter who happens to have a pale
face. Personally Id prefer the negro."

The odd one out is Ron Edwards, Imperial Wizard
of the Imperial Klans of America
Obama, I think hes a piece of shit."

Where are you getting your info? Votes have not been counted for either candidate.

Back to Obama's advertisement, I think he is presenting himself with absolute brilliance and the fact he is out marketing McCain should be an indication of how much smarter he is. McCain's response to this ad is to question this crap, see video below.

I love this video, but what's sad is how many believe this to be true. LOL

Wow, comparing Obama to Hitler - I didn't realise Obama had invaded most of Europe or Killed several million people. (well actually he has kind of invaded Europe - everyone on that side of the Atlantic is literally praying that Obama wins).

This sort of right wing racist fear mongering filth really is lowest form of expression, and sadly it makes you think that freedom of speech really shouldn't be for everyone. However, you remember the good of it outweighs the bad, and the most prolific thing Obama has said is that "the American people will choose hope over fear".

you'd think by now they'd realize that the "affiliation with Bin Laden" was last presidency, and it backfired bigtime.

McCain is going to do anything now - he's desperate, and the problem he will have is that when he loses, no-one, not even his die hard supporters or republican friends will have any respect for him, either personally or professionally.

That's why this thing is an all or nothing deal for him, and that's why he's not stopping things like this from circulating.

The GOP is a fucking disaster! Their Joe the plummer shit is really annoying corn dog shit, but them old white folks sure eat it up though, so freaking sad. Is that the best the GOP camp can do to relate to the middle class? Joe the plummer is hardly an example of a struggling American, or a small business owner for that instance.

My republican parents have changed their mind and are now voting for Obama. I really hope young peeps get out and vote, its a shame most people under 50 don't usually vote, wtf?!

Btw, McCain can't stop such stupid videos from circulating, not something he can control, but he certainly hopes people post them on their own accord. Hell, they've called Obama a Socialist with ties to known terrorists and this is what they hope happens.
